Noah Bourdon

             Noah's Ark of Hope

Noah's Ark of Hope, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to honor the memory of Noah Bourdon, who passed away on August 11, 2006 in a playground accident. Our mission statement is "To create and enhance recreational opportunities for Meriden's Youth." Noah's Ark of Hope's first project was to help build a safe, barrier free playground at Hubbard Park in Meriden, Connecticut. The Foundation reached it's $175,000 goal in only five months and construction of Adventure Hollow began in November 2007. It was dedicated in July 2008. Thanks to a grant from the State of Connecticut, another $100,000.00 worth of equipment was added to the playground in November 2008 including a sensory area, a rock climbing boulder, a sand table, and a NetMax netclimber. No one knew when we began this adventure how fast it would grow! Please check back for updates and thanks for your help!
