Noah Bourdon

             Noah's Ark of Hope

Noah's Ark of Hope, Inc. is a non-profit organization established to honor the memory of Noah Bourdon, who passed away on August 11, 2006 in a playground accident. Our mission statement is "To create and enhance recreational opportunities for Meriden's Youth." Noah's Ark of Hope's first project was to help build a safe, barrier free playground at Hubbard Park in Meriden, Connecticut. The Foundation reached its $175,000 goal in only five months and construction of Adventure Hollow began in November 2007. It was dedicated in July 2008. In November 2009, Noah's Ark of Hope was pleased to announce it has selected a second community project.  A $13,000.00 gift has been pledged to the Meriden Public Children's Department to fund a Preschool Technology Center.  The gift will provide two new specialized computers, furniture and books for the area.
No one knew when we began this adventure how fast it would grow! Please check back for updates and thanks for your help!
